Liquid Helium Level Sensors

Cryomagnetics' line of superconducting liquid helium level sensors offer low liquid helium consumption and proper venting in any mounting orientation. These level sensors work with all Cryomagnetics' liquid helium level instruments including the Model LM-510 Liquid Cryogen Monitor.

Cryomagnetics' line of superconducting liquid helium level sensors offer low liquid helium consumption and proper venting in any mounting orientation. These level sensors work with all Cryomagnetics' liquid helium level instruments including the Model LM-510 Liquid Cryogen Monitor.

Standard sensors are available in three different outside diameter sizes and in active sensing lengths from 1 cm to 200 cm, in integral multiples of 1 cm. Each sensor has an overall length 2 cm greater than the active sensing length. All standard sensors are provided with four 30 cm long #30 AWG teflon-insulated leads for internal cryostat connections; color-coded, twisted phosphor-bronze leads are available.

Custom sensors with longer inactive sections are quoted per your specifications.

*3DA features a hermetically-sealed electrical connector on top of the sensor. Top 152 mm (6″) of the sensor is 6.35 mm (1/4″) O.D. stainless steel tubing, allowing easy removal with compression fitting on dewar.
